The Job markets and general communities are facing unprecedented challenges. This has been driven by accelerating lack of skills in our youth that has been affected by the economy of Kenya and the historic unemployment levels. And now, effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and global automation are making it extremely and increasingly difficult for young people to find work
There is a great need for skills development for youth in Kenya. The accelerating globalization, faster rate of technological developments and the need for sustainability are providing us with myriad new opportunities for youth advancement.
The future may be uncertain and we cannot predict it; but we need to be open and ready for it. All the young adults who join Ashley’s Events Institute (AEI) will be in a position to discover their passion in life though hands on training in various skills related courses. Not only will the students gain skills for their future development, they will also absorb positive moral behaviours because our campus is surrounded with just and fair role models, rules, and interactions as they create new opportunities and solutions that will equip learners with a sense of purpose, and the competencies they need, to shape their own lives and contribute to the lives of others .
