Our Supermarket is seeking a passionate and creative Cake Bakery Assistant to join our in-store bakery team. The successful candidate will support daily cake production, ensure product quality, and maintain the highest standards of hygiene and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and decorate cakes, pastries, and baked products as per recipes and customer orders.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery section.
Assist with stock rotation and ingredient management.
Provide excellent service to customers ordering cakes.
Support senior bakers with special and custom cake designs.
Qualifications:
Certificate/Diploma in Food Production, Pastry, or Baking preferred.
At least 1 year of experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen.
Knowledge of cake decoration techniques is an added advantage.
Strong attention to detail and creativity.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Working Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, 6 days a week (with flexibility on weekends/public holidays).
