Our Objectives

  • Equip disadvantaged youth with life skills, marketable job skills, and entrepreneurship development.
  • Facilitate internships and job placements through public-private partnerships.
  • Offer pre- and post-job placement support, including financial help for transitioning into work or starting small businesses.

About the Scholarship

In collaboration with corporate social responsibility partners, AEI’s scholarship program helps overcome barriers preventing youth from accessing skilled training, offering them opportunities for future success.

Beneficiaries

  • Youth with special needs.
  • Youth from poor and needy households.
  • Youth from urban slums.
  • Orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs).
  • Youth from abusive families.

Scholarship Levels

  • 100% Scholarship: Full tuition coverage.
  • 50% Scholarship: Partial tuition coverage.

What the Scholarship Does NOT Cover

  • Accommodation
  • Local travel
  • External examination fees
  • Practical fees
  • T-shirts, uniforms, and other admission requirements
  • Registration fees

Scholarship Criteria

  • Applicants must have an admission letter from AEI.
  • Scholarships are for 3-month short courses only.
  • Applicants must be aged 18-25 years.
  • Applicants must demonstrate a genuine passion for learning and self-improvement.
  • Applicants must prove they can cover personal upkeep expenses.
  • Completion of a scholarship application form and submission of a recommendation letter from a local leader.
  • A social inquiry will be conducted.
  • Applicants must demonstrate good moral character and commit to completing the course.
  • Commitment to institute policies and scholarship terms is mandatory.
