Beneficiaries We Work With

At Ashleys Events Institute (AEI), we strive to help youth overcome barriers preventing them from accessing skilled training, offering them opportunities for future success. These are the youth we work with:

Youth with special needs
Youth from poor and needy households
Youth from urban slums
Orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs)
Youth from abusive families

Scholarship Criteria

Every applicant must meet the following criteria to be considered for the scholarship:

Admission Letter: Applicants must have an admission letter from Ashleys Events Institute (AEI).
Short Courses Only: Scholarships are for 3-month short courses only.
Age Restriction: Applicants must be aged 18-25 years.
Growth Oriented: Applicants must demonstrate a genuine passion for learning and self-improvement.
Other Expenses: Applicants must prove they can cover personal upkeep expenses.
Submit Application: Completion of a scholarship application form and submission of a recommendation letter from a local leader.
Background Check: A social inquiry will be conducted.
Good Moral Character: Applicants must demonstrate good moral character and commit to completing the course.
Commitment: Commitment to institute policies and scholarship terms is required.

Our Objectives

Skill Advancement

Equip disadvantaged youth with life skills, marketable job skills, and entrepreneurship development.

Jobs & Internships

Facilitate internships and job placements through public-private partnerships.

Career Transition

Offer pre- and post-job placement support, including financial help for transitioning into work or starting small businesses.

Scholarship Structure for Short Courses

Total Tuition for Short Course: 45,000 Ksh

Partner Contribution: 35,000 Ksh

Student Responsibility: 10,000 Ksh (balance)

AEI Support: AEI may cover the remaining amount if the student is unable to pay.
